When you ask someone from the UK if they're okay, they reply something along the lines of "yeah, you?". When you ask the same thing to any other country, they usually answer "yes, why?". I think that they think that we think that there's something wrong. It's because generally anyone who's not from England gets self conscious and confused when asked if they're okay. People from the UK say "you okay?" and people from anywhere else generally say "how are you?". I think it's because English people don't care enough. They just want a yes or no answer.
